Is interested in human behaviour in business contexts with applications in the services sector, especially tourism and hospitality.

Belinda Nwosu is a faculty member of the Organisational Behaviour and HRM department at Lagos Business School. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Southampton, UK; two undergraduate degrees – Mathematics and Statistics from University of Lagos in Nigeria, and Hospitality Management from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK; and a Master of Arts in Hospitality Management from University of West London, UK.

She worked as Senior Consultant at W Hospitality Group on hospitality financial and market feasibility studies across Africa. She also headed the academic unit at Wavecrest College of Hospitality, the premier hospitality monotechnic in Nigeria.

Belinda is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality (UK), the first Area Consultant (West Africa) for EuroCHRIE, the official federation for Europe, the Mediterranean Basin and Africa of the International Council for Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education, and a Certified Hotel Industry Analyst (CHIA) with STR Global. She also volunteers as an advisor with Wonder Foundation, a UK-based charity dedicated to empowering women and girls through quality education and access to good work.

Human behaviour in business contexts with applications in the services sector, especially tourism and hospitality.

To date, I have explored gender, HR leadership, sustainable HRM and governance in tourism; in addition to employee work ethic, employee behaviour and service climate. I have several journal and book chapter publications, including the first comprehensive study on the issues facing human capital development in the hotel industry in Nigeria.
